Would New Provinces Improve The Governance In Pakistan?

The idea of creating new provinces in Pakistan has gained attention in recent years. Proposals such as South Punjab, Bahawalpur, and Hazara aim to bring government and development closer to local communities. Supporters believe smaller provinces could improve administration, representation, and regional development. However, these proposals are still under discussion, and Pakistan currently has four official provinces.
